1.What I’m aiming for
I want everyone to be able to use this site, including people using screen readers or keyboards.
I’m aiming for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
2.What the site does
- Proper headings and landmarks, plus a skip to content link.
- Everything works with a keyboard and shows where focus is.
- Expanding rows tell screen readers whether they’re open.
- Photos have descriptions. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the loading screen, smooth scrolling, transitions and custom cursor are all turned off.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% without breaking the layout.
3.Known limits
The certificate previews that follow your mouse on the awards page only work with a mouse. Every certificate can also be opened by clicking or pressing Enter on its row.
4.Tell me
If something is hard to use, email aggridit@gmail.com and I’ll fix it.
