1.The short version
This is a personal website. There are no accounts, forms, ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and I don’t collect your personal data.
The rest of this page explains the small technical details, so nothing is hidden.
2.Who runs this site
This site is run by Ridit Aggarwal, a student in New Delhi, India. If you have any question about privacy, email aggridit@gmail.com.
3.What I collect
Nothing, through the website itself. There are no sign up forms, comment boxes or newsletters.
If you email me, I get your email address and whatever you write. I only use it to reply. I won’t share it or add you to any list.
4.Cookies and browser storage
This site doesn’t set any cookies.
It uses your browser’s session storage to remember a few small things while your tab is open: whether you’ve already seen the loading screen, which page you’re moving to so the transition looks right, whether you’ve turned the music off, and where the song was so it carries on between pages. All of it stays on your device and disappears when you close the tab.
5.Other services the site uses
A few files load from other providers. Like any website request, they see technical details such as your IP address and browser:
- Google Fonts serves the fonts.
- jsDelivr serves a small open-source library for smooth scrolling.
- The hosting provider may keep normal server logs for security.
I don’t get any personal data from them.
6.Links to other sites
Some pages link to my published papers and to news articles. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
7.Children
The site is fine for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including people under 18.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the GDPR, you can ask to see or delete personal data held about you. The only thing I might have is an email you sent me. Ask at aggridit@gmail.com and I’ll delete it.
9.Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
